1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of PyVendr products, services, and website. It supplements the Terms of Service and the License Agreement. By using PyVendr, you agree to comply with this AUP.
2. Permitted Use
You may use PyVendr products for:
- Personal projects and learning
- Internal business automation and tools
- Running bots on your own infrastructure for your own benefit
- Modifying source code (where provided) for your own use
- Integrating with your own systems and workflows
3. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Distribution & Licensing
- Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, or sharing Products or License Keys
- Publishing Products (compiled or source) on any public or private repository, marketplace, or website
- Sharing download links or access tokens with unauthorized parties
- Circumventing, disabling, or tampering with license validation
Harmful & Illegal Use
- Using Products for any illegal activity under applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Using Products for harassment, stalking, doxxing, or intimidation
- Deploying bots that send spam, unsolicited messages, or engage in phishing
- Using Products to scrape, collect, or store personal data without consent
- Using Products to launch denial-of-service attacks or exploit vulnerabilities
- Using Products in connection with malware, ransomware, or other malicious software
Platform Abuse
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
- Using automated tools to access the PyVendr website in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Attempting to access other users' accounts, data, or purchases
- Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities instead of responsibly reporting them
- Filing fraudulent chargebacks or refund requests
Third-Party Violations
- Using Products in a way that violates third-party terms of service (e.g., Discord, Stripe, API providers)
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others
- Misrepresenting PyVendr products as your own creation
4. Website Conduct
When using the PyVendr website, you agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the website
- Use the website to transmit viruses, worms, or other harmful code
- Abuse the support system with excessive, frivolous, or harassing communications
5. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, atPyVendr's sole discretion:
- Warning: Written notice of the violation
- Suspension: Temporary restriction of access to your account and products
- License revocation: Permanent revocation of all license keys
- Account termination: Permanent deletion of your account without refund
- Legal action: Pursuit of legal remedies for damages caused
The severity of the response will be proportional to the nature and impact of the violation. We may act without prior notice in cases involving fraud, security threats, or illegal activity.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to hello@pyvendr.com with the subject line "AUP Violation Report." Include as much detail as possible, including evidence where available.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP as needed. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
